70th Birthday wishes for Grammy via Facetime

Twas a busy weekend despite the strains of illness coursing through the household. Jason had to miss out on most of the fun while he recovered. I'm convinced this virus hitched a ride on him from the hospital. Ugh.

Alex made his first confession along with my second grade PSR class. I asked how the sacrament made him feel and he replied, "Like I got a hug straight from God."

He also got his hand on the ball a few times during his basketball game before succumbing to the fever.

Ben crossed over from cub to Boy Scout, earning his Arrow of Light at the Blue and Gold Banquet. I'm not sure he's ready for all the camping, backpacking, hiking, and canoeing in his future but he's diving in any way. I look forward to watching his maturity evolve with the aid of scouting. He also participated in Scout Sunday, processing up with the flag and cross at Mass.
